Somehow I broke 2 of the original specialized seat clamps that came with my Stumpjumper PRO. One broke while I was halfway done with a 10mile trail. The original specialized ones seem to be some sort of cast metal and may be lighter but cmon they cant break during the ride.I decided to try this Wolf Tooth american made solid aluminum design. It looks great and has a nice choice of colors. After 30 or so miles no issues. It should last as long as the bike now I hope. A bit pricey considering the Specialized one is like $9 so maybe not a great value .
