Description

✔️ We are very excited to be able to offer an extremely rare Monster Megalodon Fossil Shark Tooth. We are also offering our Professional & Beautiful Acrylic Tooth Stand along with an 8-1/2" x 11" Glossy Certificate of Authenticity suitable for framing. ✔️ This particular tooth is a 20 million year old Carcharocles Megalodon Shark Tooth Fossil that I personally found and recovered in 105' of very deep ocean water off the East Coast of North Carolina. ✔️ As many of you may know, the Carcharocles Megalodon was a prehistoric shark that lived during the Miocene and Pliocene periods (2 to 20 million years ago). It was the largest and most ferocious top predator that has ever existed. The Megalodon was thought to be as long as 75 feet and weighed up to 75 tons. This is equivalent to 7 or 8 full grown Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaurs. A full grown female adult was the size of a greyhound bus and with a mouth as large as 11' wide x 9.5' high, they could easily attack and swallow their main food source.... warm blooded whales. The giant 6' dorsal fin sliced through the water with ease and the pectoral fins were an alarming 8' long. The massive 20' tail (from tip to tip) was as high as a 2 story building. ✔️ This tooth is a 100% guaranteed authentic fossil and comes with an 8-1/2" x 11" Glossy Certificate of Authenticity suitable for framing. Other than our normal mild cleaning methods immediately following recovery plus a light rub of fossil preservation oil to give it some shine, this tooth has not been restored, repaired, varnished, painted, glued or preserved in any manner.
